Lucy Sparkles has been providing our Child Care Service with dance and music lessons for the last couple of years. The children thoroughly enjoy each and every session and Friday is their favourite day of the week. The teachers that we have had at the Service have been professional, kind and delightful in every way. Each lesson is filled with lots of fun things and always ends with sparkles (glitter) for each child. Lucy Sparkles is by far the best Baby/Toddler music and dance class there is as not only is it great fun it is also educational. We recently contacted Lucy Sparkles and Friends to see if we could arrange a fun activity for our children’s Christmas celebrations. From the get-go, Ginny was promptly responsive to our emails and was happy to answer any queries we had and tailor a package to suit.

On the day of our event, we welcomed Teresa, the Christmas Fairy to our early learning centre. All our children and educators thought Teresa was fabulous! Our babies were enchanted by Teresa’s singing and she also won them over with musical instruments and bubbles. Our toddlers and preschoolers were also thoroughly enamored with the Christmas Fairy, with lots of interactive hands-on fun! We thank Lucy Sparkles & Friends for brightening up a cold and wet day!

As well as providing activities through music and movement to enrich the children’s experience and development here at nursery, Harry Sparkles brings a real energy to the building. Terribly talented with the array of instruments he can play from saxophone to guitar (to name just a couple!), Harry is the most enthusiastic and animated person I know. We came across Lucy Sparkles recently at a children’s party where she was wonderfully entertaining and engaging the 3 yr olds. We were really happy with Jodie Sparkles and her assistant. She was well organised, showed great management skills over the kids and organised some fun and engaging activities. I just wanted to write and say thank you to you and Lewis Sparkles for a great time at Lilly and Alfie’s birthday party this week. Lilly was really happy to see Lewis, it was a great surprise and when we asked her what the best bit of her birthday party was she immediately said singing with Lewis. One of the other parents delayed taking her son to pre-school so as he could finish the singing with Lewis as he was having so much fun and I had others crying when their mums said it was time to leave!!
Lewis was so good at involving all the children and how he remembered all their names I don’t know! He managed to make Lilly feel so special and whilst she was a little shy to start with, she was glued to his side… It was great to see! The singing was lots of fun and the children all had a great time.

Ben Sparkles has been with The Park Gardens Nursery for more than a year as a peripatetic singing teacher. He takes the sessions very seriously and is able to manage children of different ages in groups of twelve. He uses a variety of instruments, a parachute and lots of visual aids. Some of the songs are original and they are mixed with familiar ones. He has an excellent record of attendance and is always punctual.
Ben always shows care and commitment in all his work with the children and in turn they love having him here. He will go out of his way to ensure the children in his care are safe and secure at all times. Ben would be an asset to any nursery class. Our children love Callie Sparkles. She is very enthusiastic when she comes and the children are always excited to see her and what she might have in her special bag this week. She keeps things very varied for the children and every week has something new to introduce to them either by an active game or singing with the key board (in a very high pitch which I can not dream of reaching) or even combining the two and covering music and movement.
The toddlers really enjoy her time too I have never seen them sit so well or so close to anyone before, again I think it’s because she changes things up for them and introduces some variety.
The parents have given some really positive feedback about her too as the children go home with their ‘sparkles’ from her telling them all about her.

Ginny and the Sparkles are professional, reliable, creative and of course have the most fantastic rapport with children & their families. Ginny is always willing to tailor her sessions to suit the Mint and our coin and education programs. We consistently receive good feedback from participants about the quality of the workshops, and they are quickly becoming one of our most popular public offerings! More recently, Ginny has adapted these workshops to be run online, which again have been extremely well received whilst we cannot run programs onsite.
